David Brock began his doors tribute band career by starring in a Hollywood Rock Opera in 1982 playing/singing the part of Morrison. Of all the Morrison “try outs”, he was chosen immediately by his stage presence, vocal accuracy/delivery and looks. David Brock’s doors tribute band career has now spanned 18 years, playing to audiences in the U.S, Great Britain, Europe, Mexico, South America, India and Asia.
Tribute bands are becoming a growing force in the music industry. With famous rock bands from the 60’s and 70’s either broken up, band members passed on, or just their voices not-what-they-used-to-be, tribute bands have taken a foothold in delivering the music of the “peace” generation of the 60’s, and the anti-war/end-the-war 70’s.
